How much of a chance do i have with this guy?

He probably still like you since you guys didn't break-up because of bad terms. Maybe he wants to give it another shot. Things like this happen all the time, people might still have feelings for someone. Maybe you should continue talking to him and give him another chance to see where it goes. But, make sure he won't do the same thing when his ex isn't over seas anymore.
