Is this a bad response to get from a guy?

So i was chatting to this guy for the first time on facebook.I dont know him in person but hes not some creep cos he goes to same school as my best friend.But we got on really well chatting about similar interests we have.So i had to go out to rugby training so i said i wouldnt be on facebook for the week because i am doing exams so i gave him my mobile number.But his response was :"yeah i just might Cya".Is that a bad response cos like he was saying he found it impressive that i play rugby.Like he is really into rugby and hes obviously seen my facebook profile cos he was the first person to start up a facebook chat.So even though i play rugby being a girl he said i think its unreal the way you play rugby :)
