Is it possible to have only one episode of Bipolar Disorder my whole life?

Hi. I am 23 years old and live in Glasgow,Scotland. A few months ago i was diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder. I was diagnosed after a full-blown Manic episode. I was really messed up and out of control and i actually became psychotic too. But i am fine now and on 1000mg of Lithium. Is it possible to only have one episode my whole life?Or will there be recurrence of symptoms?Thanks for reading.
