Do i need a mood stabiliser?

Hi everyone.How are you?I am 23 years old and live in Glasgow,Scotland. I see a psychiatric nurse and a psychiatrist.For over a year i had auditory hallucinations. However a couple of months ago i was put on Risperidone and the voices have now gone.However over the last week i have felt very low abnd depressed. I have lost interest in the things i used to enjoy doing, i have lost my appetite, i haven't spoke to my family and i just want to sleep all the time.There have been times where i have also felt high and elated. The psychiatrist mentioned about putting me on a mood stabiliser a couple of months ago. I see the nurse tommorow so i am going to tell her how i have been feeling.Do you think the psychiatrist will put me on a mood stabiliser?Do i need a mood stabiliser?Thanks for your time.Take care.
