Do you think he likes me as a girlfriend?

Ok, theres this huy at work, im 20 he is 24 and weve been getting to know each other for about 3/4 months now. Hes really nice, kind always the same! He recognises me when I go into work , but am not in my uniform and always greets me by saying my name. On saturday we were talking, and he suddenly said that hes going out for his mates birthday in a couple of weeks, did i want to go. I thought he was just being polite, but then i thought that I heard him say id like it if you came. So i was like, well ok then, as long as your sure. So then im going to walk away, which he looks quite disappointed at, and he says well i could give you my number on facebook and then we could text and stuff. So then yesterday I knew he was at work till 4, so at half four he private messages me his number, asking if he could have mine. So i text him and ask him if hes sure it would be ok,and that I hope he wouldnt abandon me, as i only know him. He replied saying yea its fine, and no i wont abandon you. So then I ask if he has any plans for tonight, and he says no, but that hes working tomorrow morning. I reply saying that im working tomorrow but that we wont see each other, but not working tuesday, cause im at uni, and he replies saying no me neither, and "ill have to pop down and cya tomorrow then haha", so i text back saying come and see me whenever, and havent had a text back. Does he like me as more than a friend? thankyou
