Is this a bad response to get from a guy?

So i was chatting to this guy for the first time on facebook.I dont know him in person but hes not some creep cos he goes to same school as my best friend.But we got on really well chatting about similar interests we have.So i had to go out to rugby training so i said i wouldnt be on facebook for the week because i am doing exams so i gave him my mobile number.But his response was :"yeah i just might Cya".Is that a bad response cos like he was saying he found it impressive that i play rugby.Also he is in the same rugby club as me.But i feel bad now for giving him my number.
